Flip the bottle over, and it’s easier to pour more accurately.

Does yours consume oil?

I was looking at some emails from 2014, today is the 5th anniversary of me putting a deposit on my credit card for mine.

I would say I have to add a quart overall between oil changes.

I drive it “at anger” 5-8k often. I don’t baby it, so might have something to do with oil magically disappearing.

We have a oil support group now.

That’s about how I drive mine as well. It’s burned oil once and that was the one time I accidentally went 9k between changes.

I see M3 forums online where there is a thread about driving above 5k like its a milestone. That is called my commute to work.

You know it.  And I’m on a 5000 mile interval for mine.  But I mostly just use 2 jugs of M1 now and the leftover from my earlier oil change kits.   Cheaper than replacing timing chain guides.

I do all my cars every 7k. I send my M3 oil to Blackstone to get an oil analysis and even at 7k they tell me I had plenty of life still left in the oil.

I’ve accidentally hit fuel cut of too many times. You need to make sure your V8 revs to above 8k.

I think the 911 sc is up to 11.5 due to the larger oil cooler.

Same here. After my first oil analysis at Blackstone revealed a coolant contamination, I’m sold on their services.  I had to replace the oil cooler to fix the leak.  But they picked up the contamination at a very low level Before it caused damage.  And other than that, the oil has plenty of life left, but again, it’s cheaper than pulling the engine to replace the guides.

Yup. 15k is crazy, but 10k is totally fine with synthetic.
